OUR HISTORY

Troy T. Willingham is a renowned artist from Albuquerque, NM, whose work focuses on traditional Southwest designs using copper as a medium. Born in Phoenix, AZ in 1973, he soon fell in love with the natural beauty of the region, as well as the traditional pueblo artwork that originated from native Southwest cultures. In order to create his signature pieces, Willingham uses a flame torch, special patinas, and his unique vision to create vibrant mosaics on copper canvases.

Troy Willingham’s elegant metal art has generated widespread interest among those in the local art scene, and he is currently working as the featured artist for CBS Sunday Morning. Willingham was recently awarded both 1st and 2nd place in the NM Fine Arts Gallery and he will be one of a select number of professional artists highlighted at this year’s Rio Grande Holiday Arts Festival. His work can be viewed at the Cottonwood Cafe at the Albuquerque Zoo, the Shark Reef Cafe at the Albuquerque Botanical Gardens, and the International Balloon Fiesta Gift Shop.
